About Me

Hello, my name is Isaiah Franco and I am a geek.

There, I said it.
Now that it’s out of the way let me tell you a little about me…

I live in Southern California and have a beautiful daughter who is just growing up way too quickly.

I get to be the Technical Director at Sandals Church in Riverside, CA.

To say that my life has been a roller coaster lately would be an understatement. Ever since January 2010 my life has been all over the place. But God has always been with me. He has never left my side. As much as I’d rather not bring it up, my life is that lame footprints in the sand poem.

Not to say that God has made my life easier, He just gives me the strength, comfort and at times is carrying me through the difficult times.

I am so thankful for the people He has put in my life that I can rely on and fallback on when it feels like I can’t do it on my own.

Who I am

At times, I don’t even know.

I don’t know what defines me. I hope it’s not gadgets or my love for Star Wars or my Android phone iPhone (I’m a recent convert). I do hope it’s that I’m a father. Or that I’m a Christ-follower. Or even a leader.

I’m just trying to get through life without screwing up too badly. But you know what? I fail. Let me be really real; I’m okay with failing every once in a while. I’d never learn the right way without doing it wrong first.

Why am I doing this blog?

Not gonna lie, I hate writing. But I do think it would be cool to have an archive of thoughts and other junk I see and do. For a more up-to-the-minute and slightly “unfiltered” stream of thoughts you can follow me on the Twitter.

Working at Coast Hills with Mike provided me with some awesome learning experiences and prepared me for what’s to come.

The next chapter in my life (taking the job at Sandals and moving back to Riverside) should offer plenty of blogging material.

So with that said, I don’t really know what to expect, but here we go
