What’s the first thing you want to do when you get home?

I have no idea what I want to say. I’ve got a few ideas bouncing around in the ‘ole noggin, but I just couldn’t settle on one. Do I talk about what projects we have going on at Coast Hills? Do I write about how much I miss having a family? Or do I write about my constant struggle to be a “good Christian”?
The answer I came up with: none of the above.
Instead, I want to know what’s the first thing you want to do when you get home?
I’ll get the conversation going.
I would love to come home and kiss the wife and kid and talk about how each of our days went.
But since that’s not going to happen, I usually like to come home and try to unwind and decompress a bit. If I have some free time I might even get an episode of Battlestar Galactica in before bed (Thanks Ryan for getting me hooked on it. I hate you. Okay I take it back, loves you). I admit that I spend too much time Facebook-ing. Not that I would do something more productive if I spent less time on it though.
Sometimes I’ll just put a movie on and have it on in the background. If I do, it’s probably going to beĀ Star Trek or Serenity.

If any of my buddies are online, I might play a game or two of Team Fortress 2 or Starcraft 2.
But I really don’t have that much free time, so I don’t really get to do any of that stuff.
Which I think is probably a good thing.
So tell me…
What I’m listening to right now
Since music with words distracts me while I’m typing I usually try to listen to instrumental pieces while I blog or anytime I have to do a lot of typing. Right now I am currently listening to some of John Williams‘ work. Just in case you didn’t know, he composed the score for Star Wars and many other great films.
There are a few other film scores/soundtracks in this playlist as well. Let’s see… I’ve got Transformers, The Matrix and Reloaded, Star Trek, Star Wars episodes I II III IV V & VI, Spiderman I & II, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, and Serenity.

First thing I do, is STUFF MY FACE.
I am usually very hungry after work, so if its the one day a week I go home right after work I raid the fridge, grab my laptop, and catch up on the TV on God’s gift to me. DVR.
Eventually I transition to my room where Xbox will be played and depending on my mood, I will willingly play TF2 with people.
Also, good choice of putting Captain Malcom Reynolds picture in, it really brings the blog together.
